TO BOARD MEMBERS, FOUNDERS, INVESTORS, AND THE TEAM

Dear all,

Ten years from now, this note will feel either obvious or impossibly early. I am writing it anyway, on April 20, 2025, to arrive on April 22, 2035.

Ten years ago, we believed the internet had made connection abundant.

We were wrong.

It made communication abundant. AI made content abundant. Automation made outreach abundant. Infinite feeds made attention abundant in theory, and scarce in practice.

What became truly valuable was something technology could not manufacture on its own:

Trust. Presence. Shared experience. Being in the room.

The most important relationships in business still begin the same way they always have: two people meet, understand each other, and decide to build something together.

The problem is not that people stopped wanting to meet. The infrastructure around real-world connection never caught up with the internet.

Marvelous was built to change that.

THE MISSING LAYER

Digital intent should become meaningful physical presence.

Companies know the outcomes they want: launch a product, enter a market, meet the right 20 buyers, activate a community, host customers around a major conference.

But the path from intent to real-world outcome is still stitched together manually.

Marvelous exists to become that connective layer.

THE STARTING POINTEvents are the wedge. Real-world orchestration is the category.

A SMALL MARGIN NOTE

From prompt
to presence.

“Bring 25 cybersecurity leaders together during RSA, in a room they’ll actually want to stay in. Optimize for relationships and pipeline.”

INTENT

Goal, audience, market, moment. The system builds the outcome around the intent.

THE HUMAN + AI MODEL

The best AI makes us more human.

The goal is not to automate human connection. It is to automate the work that gets in its way.

Scheduling.
Research.
Sourcing.
Coordination.
Follow-up.
Measurement.

The machines should carry the complexity.
The humans should get the room.

MARVELOUS CAMPUS

A place for the network to become real.

If, one day, there is a Marvelous Campus, let it be a living node: a venue, a lab, a studio, a gathering ground.

Technology should not isolate us into better screens. It should help us build better places to be together.

Conceptual vision, San Francisco Bay · A long-term aspiration, not a real-estate announcement.

A LETTER FROM MERVE

We are still early.

Ten years is long enough for almost every product detail to change. It is not long enough for the thing we believe to stop mattering.

People want to belong. People want to meet the people who change their thinking. People want places where possibility feels tangible. People want to build things together.

If we do this well, the most meaningful thing Marvelous creates will not be software. It will be what happened because the right people found each other.

Merve
